Writer by day, Gamer by night
My story begins in 1996 when my father brought home our first computer. I was so excited, I waited by the window for two hours until he finally arrived. What an amazing sight, I still get goosebumps when I think about it. I can still remember those old-fashioned types of mouses – so heavy that you can really hurt someone if you throw one at them. It had a heavy rubber ball and four mechanical wheels inside that interpreted the movements. However, the ever-growing number of complex technical achievements introduced the laser technology that we still use up till this day.
I’ve been gaming all of my life and I can even remember my Gameboy set with which I played for hours and hours – ah good times. Truth be told, that’s still me after work is done. My job involves a lot of writing and researching on the internet and I have to sit in the same position for 8 hours. At home, I do not have this type of problem, I can totally be in a couch potato position while I am playing, but my palm and my wrist are always active in the same quite unpleasant way. Luckily, I got informed on time and started using contour ergonomic mouse. The unpleasant numb feeling is done, along with my pain, even my skills playing League of Legends are on the rise. As Dennis Garbor once said in his book Innovations: Scientific, Technological and Social, 1970:
The most important and urgent problems of the technology of today are no longer the satisfactions of the primary needs or of archetypal wishes, but the reparation of the evils and damages by the technology of yesterday.
Gaming mice are okay, but ergonomic mice rule!
Let’s get down to the nitty-gritty of ergonomic mice answering some of the basic questions such as why the contour ergonomics mouse is the best, and why other brands are just too expensive and not effective enough. I have tried a lot of brands, starting from Razer Naga and the Razer Imperator up to Genius Wireless 5 bottom one. And let me be honest, my experience with them was disastrous.
- Razer is one of the most famous gaming accessories brands, but in the case of the Razer Naga, they have failed to deliver. The material used to make this mouse is so fragile that one click alone broke the left button and I had to pay $20 just to repair it. Same goes with the Razer Imperator; maybe it was built with a better quality, but it was too expensive and sometimes I wonder if this mouse feels like it is made for ergonomic use or to crack walnuts.
- Genius’ products always come with prices appealing to all consumers, but their quality is – meh. The Genius Wireless 5 offers a lot of functionality, but the need to recharge it way too often will give you a headache. It is ergonomic but still I would not recommend this one in particular.
- Contour ergonomic mouse was once known as the Perfit Mouse and it is the best ergonomically designed mouse that provides the needed support for your hand, makes you feel comfortable, regardless of the size of your palm. It is made from durable material with good build quality making it one of the best ergonomic mouses I have ever tried. I use it at work, I used it when I play video games – I enjoy having my palm resting at this top shelf ergonomic mouse – the Contour’s.
Conclusion
Gaming and writing are my two favourite things in the world. I love my job: writing articles, expanding my mind, going to frontiers I have never imagined and there would not be love if my equipment is flawed. That’s why I have given you the insight to choose the best one and that is the contour ergonomic mouse.
